Named for the legendary composer, Haydn is a one-of-a-kind Signature Series amplifier with a quieter kind of beauty—one that becomes more impressive the longer you look at it. Deep chocolate and purplish-brown heartwood flows across the body in broad, sweeping lines, interrupted by knots, curls, and subtle areas of figure that reveal the complicated history of the tree it came from.
The real showcase is the oversized horn. Inside, concentric growth rings and swirling grain create a dramatic pattern that seems to spiral around the center of the amplifier. Different viewing angles reveal shifting shades of brown, bronze, and purple, while lighter streaks provide just enough contrast to make the darker grain stand out.
The exterior carries that same character, with several distinct grain centers, areas of compression and movement, and subtle irregularities that ensure no two views of Haydn are quite the same. Hand-turned from a single piece of salvaged black walnut, this is the kind of piece that could only have been designed by the tree itself.
