Hudson is a one-of-a-kind, regular-sized Signature Series amplifier hand-turned from black walnut.
What immediately sets Hudson apart is the remarkable figure running throughout the piece. Tight, rippling bands of grain travel across the body and flare dramatically toward the horn, creating an almost three-dimensional appearance as the light moves across the polished surface. The figure continues through the phone cradle and base, making this one of those pieces that seems to change depending on the angle from which you view it.
Its coloring is classic walnut—rich chocolate and warm brown tones—but the unusually strong figure gives Hudson considerably more movement and visual depth than a typical piece of straight-grained black walnut. Rather than relying on knots, voids, or other dramatic natural features, the grain itself is the centerpiece of this one.
Named Hudson, a strong, timeless name that fits the natural character and flowing movement found throughout the wood.
Every line, ripple, and variation you see was created naturally as the tree grew and revealed only after the log was turned and finished.
This is the exact amplifier pictured—you will receive this one-of-a-kind piece.
