During the slot-cutting process, the saw briefly skipped, leaving visible tool marks along the top edge of the slot (clearly shown in the photos). This is a cosmetic flaw only and does not affect the strength, fit of the phone, sound quality, or overall performance of the amplifier in any way.
Rather than hiding it, this piece embraces its character. The mark is a reminder that this amplifier was shaped by hand, not stamped out by a machine.
