Hand-turned from hardwood, this phone amplifier carries a unique look created by an imperfect finishing process. A light white bloom settled on the surface of the inside of the amplifier during curing, softening the wood’s natural depth and leaving the finish more matte and muted than intended. Though unplanned, the result gives the piece an understated, weathered appearance — a reminder that handmade work sometimes follows its own path. Despite the finish flaw, the amplifier functions beautifully, channeling warm, natural sound with simple, acoustic clarity.
