Gilead is a one-of-a-kind, mega Signature Series amplifier hand-turned from black walnut.
This piece beautifully displays the transition between rich chocolate heartwood and creamy walnut sapwood. Sweeping grain lines flow from the body into the horn, where the lighter wood reveals several natural worm holes and insect tracks—remnants from the life of the tree that have been intentionally preserved rather than hidden.
Those small imperfections are exactly what give Gilead its character. They tell part of the story of the wood and ensure there will never be another piece quite like it.
Named Gilead, a biblical land often associated with wilderness, refuge, and restoration, it feels especially fitting for a piece made beautiful in part by the marks it carries.
Please note: The worm holes shown in the photos are natural features of this piece and are not considered defects.
This is the exact amplifier pictured—you will receive this one-of-a-kind piece.
