Livingstone is a one-of-a-kind regular-size Signature Series amplifier with a rich, understated beauty that rewards a closer look. Warm chocolate-brown walnut covers most of the piece, while sweeping grain lines travel naturally through the body and flare outward as they approach the horn.
Its defining feature is the natural knot and surrounding grain distortion near the horn, where the tree's growth was interrupted and forced to flow around the developing branch. The result is a concentrated area of swirling figure and subtle curl that contrasts beautifully with the long, cleaner grain running through the center of the body. Under the polished finish, those changing grain directions create areas of chatoyance that shift with the light.
Livingstone also displays a beautiful range of natural walnut coloration—from deep brown heartwood to warmer caramel tones—with clearly defined growth rings visible across the base. Nothing about the character was added or manufactured; every line and variation was already waiting inside the salvaged log.
