Olympus is a one-of-a-kind Signature Series amplifier defined by an extraordinary amount of natural character. Rather than the deep, uniform chocolate tones normally associated with black walnut, this piece is dominated by creamy golden sapwood streaked and splashed with dark heartwood, creating an almost painted appearance across the entire body.
The horn is where Olympus really comes alive. Dramatic areas of spalting trace dark, wandering lines through the lighter wood, while scattered dark markings, small knots, and irregular patches give the surface incredible visual complexity. Toward the center of the horn, the coloration transitions abruptly into rich chocolate-brown heartwood, forming a bold natural focal point surrounded by the lighter spalted grain.
Those same contrasting patterns continue around the exterior, making Olympus look dramatically different depending on the angle from which it's viewed. Hand-turned from a single piece of salvaged black walnut, every streak, line, knot, and color transition was already hidden inside the tree—the turning simply revealed it.
