Named for the legendary explorer, Magellan is a one-of-a-kind, regular-sized Signature Series amplifier shaped by some extraordinary natural character in the wood. Sweeping bands of rich walnut heartwood travel across the body alongside broad areas of creamy sapwood, creating dramatic contrast that changes completely as the piece is turned.
Several knots and swirling grain patterns interrupt those flowing lines, including a striking circular formation on the side that gives Magellan an almost topographic appearance. Around the mouth, the heartwood and sapwood twist together into an especially wild landscape of color and grain—each angle revealing something different from the last.
Hand-turned from a single piece of salvaged black walnut, Magellan preserves the irregularities and unexpected features that developed naturally during the tree’s lifetime. No two sides look alike, and there will never be another one exactly like it.
