Gideon is a one-of-a-kind, regular-sized Signature Series amplifier hand-turned from black walnut.
This piece has a quieter beauty at first glance, but the closer you look, the more it reveals. Rich walnut heartwood transitions into broad areas of creamy sapwood, while waves of figure ripple across the horn and catch the light beneath the polished finish. The grain shifts dramatically throughout the piece, from the darker growth rings at the base to the almost smoky, highly figured patterns surrounding the flare.
Named Gideon after the unlikely warrior and judge from the Book of Judges, the name feels fitting for a piece whose beauty isn't defined by being loud or flashy. Its character is found in the details—the contrast, movement, and natural imperfections that were already hidden inside the tree.
No two pieces of walnut could produce another exactly like it.
This is the exact amplifier pictured—you will receive this one-of-a-kind piece.
