Aslan is a one-of-a-kind, regular-sized Signature Series amplifier hand-turned from black walnut.
This piece immediately stands out for its dramatic contrast. Deep chocolate heartwood flows into broad areas of creamy sapwood, while sweeping grain and areas of shimmering figure create movement across the horn. Small natural knots and irregularities remain visible throughout, giving Aslan an organic character that could never be duplicated.
The contrast becomes especially striking around the horn, where the dark heartwood seems to emerge through the lighter sapwood in bold, sweeping patterns. As the light moves across the polished surface, subtle figure hidden within the grain comes alive.
Named Aslan for its bold, commanding presence, this is a piece with plenty of character without being overly complicated.
