Rich black walnut anchors the top and bottom of the board, while broad sections of creamy maple brighten the center. Narrow bands of bloodwood provide the finishing touch, adding deep burgundy-red accents that immediately stand out against the lighter maple.

The simplicity of the layout is what makes this board so striking. Rather than relying on a large number of species, the design lets the dramatic difference between dark walnut, light maple, and naturally red bloodwood do the work.
